Knowing Christ, Growing Together, Making a Difference for Eternity

The mission of Luckey is to be a grace filled family empowered by the Spirit to make, mature, and multiply disciples of Jesus for the glory of God. We seek to fulfill this mission locally, regionally, and internationally.

Over the past several years, Luckey has ministered in various ways to our local community through our involvement with the DeSoto Food Pantry.  We hold ongoing food drives at church, hold benefit concerts and work with JeffCo Express in their “Stuff the Bus Food Drives” campaign.

We want to show and tell the good news of Jesus Christ to those around us. We show God’s love through various acts of kindness, but desire to share the greatest display of God’s love: This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

We also send mission teams to work with a local program called, "Hammers of Hope."  We have built accessibility ramps, decks, helped with home repairs, and delivered free air conditioners in the heat of summer. Our desire is that God would be seen as glorious by those we minister to.

We are currently supporting a missionary couple serving in Sudan, Justin and Amy Culp. We also support a short term missions organization called, "The Isaiah Connection", which conducts missions on five continents.
